The
injection mold has six major systems, and the guide system is to ensure that the movable mold and the fixed mold can be correctly centered when the mold is closed, and the guide parts must be provided in the mold. In the injection mold, four sets of guide columns and guide bushes are usually used to form the guide parts. Sometimes it is necessary to set the inner and outer taper surfaces on the movable mold and the fixed mold respectively to assist positioning.
The guide pillar mainly plays a guiding role in the mold to ensure that the molding surface of the core and the cavity do not touch each other in any case, and the guide post cannot be used as a force member or a positioning member. Then, how to deal with the damage of guide pillars during the use of injection molds?
In several situations, moving and stationary molds will generate a large lateral offset force during injection. When the wall thickness of the plastic part is not uniform, the velocity of the material flow through the thick wall is large, resulting in greater pressure; the side of the plastic part is asymmetric, such as the die of the stepped parting surface, the opposite sides are opposite The pressure is not equal.
The injection mold factory must produce a set of high-quality injection molds to understand every detail of each mold design, manufacture, and molding, and understand the use of each part in the mold. It is clear that the guide pillar plays a major role in the injection mold and understands the harm caused by the damage of the guide pillar to the entire mold. It will pay more attention to this type of problems in subsequent use and will not only be able to produce excellent plastic products better. It also greatly improves the service life of injection molds.
